About the project
We’re proud to have supplied the window and door package for Commonplace, a groundbreaking project by McKinley Studios redefining manufactured family homes.
Designed for sustainability, affordability, and resilience, these manufactured homes prioritize environmental responsibility while delivering exceptional performance. Built with lightweight, polymerized concrete panels, they are fire-, pest-, and mold-resistant.
Featuring triple-glazed windows and high R-value roof and wall assemblies, they exceed Step Four energy codes.

Founded by Walker McKinley, Edmund Lee, and Richard Frontain, the project is driven by a commitment to sustainability, affordability, and safety. Rather than following traditional housing models, it reimagines home design through the lens of essential living. Each home in the series is designed to enhance indoor-outdoor living, with a central courtyard serving as the unifying focal point of the collection.
