AeroFrame Announces Partnership with Airclos for Western North America

Retractable roof systems and vertical sliding glass façade systems expand possibilities for indoor–outdoor architecture.

Vancouver, British Columbia, April 6, 2026 — AEROFRAME, a provider of architectural aluminum window and door systems for contemporary residential and hospitality projects, has announced a new partnership with AIRCLOS to represent its operable architecture systems across Western Canada and the Western United States.

Through this partnership, AEROFRAME will introduce retractable glass roof systems and vertical sliding glass façade systems designed for large-span architectural environments.

Retractable roof systems allow terraces, courtyards, and rooftop spaces to function as dynamic architectural environments. When closed, the roof performs as a structural glass assembly engineered for weather protection and drainage. When open, glass panels retract to restore full sky exposure and natural ventilation.

Vertical sliding glass windows complement these systems by providing large-format operable façade openings commonly used in hospitality and entertainment environments.

AIRCLOS brings over 40 years of engineering expertise in operable architectural systems, with a focus on large-span glass structures, minimal aluminum profiles, and high-performance weather resistance. Integrated with AEROFRAME’s system-based approach, these solutions allow for seamless coordination between glazing systems and operable architectural elements. Projects can be specified through a single partner, simplifying detailing, engineering, and installation.

“AIRCLOS systems complement our approach to high-performance architectural glazing, introducing a new level of flexibility to the building envelope,” said Rik Van Egdom, President at AEROFRAME. “Through this partnership, we are able to support a broader range of project types while helping architects and developers convert exterior areas into fully usable, year-round space that performs without compromising design.” AEROFRAME will provide design consultation, engineering coordination, and installation guidance for projects incorporating these systems across its territories.

The partnership expands AEROFRAME’s architectural systems portfolio and supports the growing demand for flexible indoor–outdoor environments in residential, hospitality, and resort developments.
